“Intense”

I about half an hour, I’ll find out what the hair dye packet means by “Intense Violet Red”, as opposed to red, violet, violet red or plain old red violet. I’ll also get to wash the colour off my neck that looks like a deep, dark bruise :)

I’m going to keep my hair long, for now :) I like how it looks and how versatile it is, and took the other piece of advice a friend offered, that iut would be hell to keep it out of my face at the gym if it was cropped short. Pony-tailing the summer away!

To the gym I tend to wear the same sorts of things – my kmart tshirts and shorts. Rish thought he might get me soemthing a bit nicer for Christmas – involving brandnames and wickaway fabrics. So, following an “it’s so good to be back at the gym getting pushed to do things I don’t do with myself” session at the gym with Rish which involved me threatening him with the weights (he knows he’s pushing me enough when I satrt getting violent :p) we went into Civic to scope out the latest fashions in sportwear.

My crieria is really to not have those super short shorts which girls wear and that REALLY don’t seem functional. I discovered that running shorts can have those built-in undies (scungies!!!)… and then tried soem things on. Uh oh.

Emerge from the change room because of how hideous the medium in the Nike‘s looked. “I don’t want to be a large” I moan. Seriously, I know better than to feel like the number or size should really matter, but UGH, it just slapped me today :p Maybe feeling a bit sluggish from all those pastries I ate yesterday? Eventually went back in and tried the large, which looked great (of course I have to be a large bottom and medium top… at least I wasn’t dress-shopping today!)… and a pair of 12s, which are normally the same as mediums, which fit too, but weren’t as cute.

I’m normally a 12/medium… I don’t really like to be a large… I don’t want to be “large” :p I’m also not a fan of being sized down in thisngs, like when they “flatter-size” and I wind up swimming in a ten, because they want to make sales by make you feel hapy you’re a smaller size than you thought…

Anyway. One day I may wear brandwear clothes to the gym. I’m just such a mood-shopper, though!
