OMG Eh-Oh!

So, who thinks I could become the 5th (pink) Teletubby???

Teletubbies!

I mean they were only my idols throughout the latter part of highschool. I’ve watched their Christmas special a million times, and have all the gear – Lala is of course my favourite (most like me!) so I had the pyjama bag, mini tubbies, stickers, HUGE post on my wall, and the backpack that I took for years 11 and 12.

I’m having issues with the website, so can’t see if there’s any videos up there. But if I were to do it, I’d have to be the pink one. Could I be Pinky-Pinky? Or is that too close to Tinky Winky? oh the decisions! *runs off for a little teletubbies nostalgia* Shame the conest was a year ago!

(I know there are those out there that would say that the Teletubbies are bad for children’s language development… but yet again I think it’s a cas eof it’s fine for those average normally developing kids, it’s just those who are having problems are going to have them regardless of what their fave tv show is… it’s just when they’re obsessed that the worries begin!)

Oh! Download a desktop Teletubbie!

My aunt had that same opinion of teletubbies being bad for kids’ language development, that was until she read that they go into a great deal of research behind the teletubbies. *Supposedly* all of those sounds they make are the first 500 sounds a baby/toddler makes, or something like that. So it might be true, might not. It’s not something i’ve researched extensively.
In any case, MY kids won’t be watching teletubbies. They freak me out. :/

Oh, and I say the second “p” in “pumpkin”.

My little birdy calls me “eh oh”. I try to get him to say jeh-ni. jeh-ni. but no. eh oh.

he tries to say “that’s right” or “it’s alright” as well. i think. i realised i say it to him alot, and he’s definately trying to say something that sounds like “ahs iigh”.
