Okay. I just completed my first bodypump class.
(and I was just about to eat some leftover kangaroo and vege kebabs when I’ve realised that, hey, I should take my antibiotic, and then wait half an hour and then eat *pouts*)
Okay, that done.
I reckon I’ll be sore on Friday :p I used the smallest weights because I knew that for my first class I wanted to focus on the technique etc… The is a technique class on Fridays, but it’s a 5pm, and 5pm Friday? If I am off work I’d rather be drinking :p
So, I had mini-weights on. And I was going along fine. Rish has taught me well with rechnique. I saw some girls (one in particular) with terrible posture throughout and really hoped that she wasn’t hurting herself. I biceps went pink during the bicep stuff, so I knew the blood was flowing there! (yes, I go pink and red so quickly)… and the squats and lunges kill me. The kill me without music, and with Rish just pushing me along, so to put me to music, in a class, it’s good for me.
So yes, I’ll be back next Wednesday night for the same torture. Rish and I are going to try to do a second weights session on Sundays, where I can focus on the weights etc, but both will be good for me, and with the cardio sessions through the week. I’m having fun (but feeling oh so guilty over the little easter eggs that were going around today and I decided to eat!)
