So, Babies

June 26, 2008 · 0 comments

Scarily relevant, following last night’s conversation with Rish:

Apparently I’m nearly 26, and while the thought of having kid/s at 30 doesn’t seem that daunting, THAT’S ONLY 4 YEARS OFF (Rish just had a heart attack. sorry dear)…

Love xkcd. It is my life in comic form. (Romance, sarcasm, math, and language? Yes, that’s my life)

lol. Babies are scary.

I had this conversation with a friend of mine (another Fiona), because neither of us think we want kids – but we’re both willing to admit we might change our minds. I figure I’ll get some eggs frozen, in case I want to have kids later – because I really can’t see it happening by the time I’m 30.

Um, folks, take it from an old man of almost 40, making the babies is the easy part. It’s all the stuff after the spawning bit that’s tough. Luckily, I was on the lease-to-own program and when my ex-wife left, I managed to dodge the balloon payment at the end (ie. college)! Yea!

@Danielle: How is the frozen egg techonology at the moment?

@Jen: We’re not getting married.

@Rish: *snuggleskiss*

@Network Geek: I don’t think I want to go there with that comment *heh*

I have a pregnant workmate at the moment who’s going through hell with it… it helps me in putting it off.
