Frost under foot

September 10, 2008 · 0 comments

As much as I cursed and yelled at him this morning, I’m happy that Rish took me on a jog past the golfcourse.

Yes, it was still zero degrees when we got back, and yes I felt like crying. But I felt mentally good for doing it :p

And I didn’t trip over, despite stubbing my toes 16 million times on tree roots. And I only fell off the footpath towards the houses, not onto the road – this is why a guy should always walk on the road side of a footpath with me. Or a girl. Or a toddler. Because they have better ballance than me.

A hot shower got rid of the numbness and the icicles that were in my lungs. Glutton for punnishment, though I’m glad it’s “getting warmer”. pfft.

Unfortunately sportswise I’m one of the most unco people I know. :/ Seriously, I even hurt myself chewing food. I currently have a lisp from the swollen hole in my tongue from where I munched it 2 days ago. :/
