Pain!

October 2, 2008 · 0 comments

It seems that I have forgotten how to swallow. My mother always told me that I must be sick if I’ve got an aversion to food (who was a chubby little child, hmm?) … and this is one of those times. It’s taken me an hour to try to eat my black rice that Rish cooked so lovingly… now I need to try to keep drinking water, otherwise I’m going to injure my liver or kidneys or something with painkillers and antibiotics.

I have the next two days off work too, hopefully by the end of the long weekend I’ll be feeling normalish… if I’m not, then off for testing it is *sigh* But I’ll be better, or at least well on the way. *nods*

Oh and reasons besides sickness and feeling like crap and headaches and pain that I’m not at work? It hurts to talk. It feels like I’m having to push past something to get any sort of sound out. Plus, I don’t want anyone to have to look in my mouth… “Say /k/ little child, just copy what I do” ugh. Don’t look at me! :p Just because my throat is puffy and my tonsils red and huge and my tongue gross as… (but not beached as *giggles*)

Poor phona. I hope your mean tonsils will leave you alone soon.

Reckon one of your med students can do it as a final favour for you? Remove my tonsils? Or at least get me some decent painkillers. Nothing over the counter does anything for me :(
