Ahead of Myself

Really, I can’t get too excited about doing a masters or even some coursework when i come home feeling blah after having a headache for much of the the day, coupled with a sore throat… thank you Dimetapp cold and flu for at least keeping the sniffle away and the cough down.

My Burlesque course got cancelled due to poor enrollment. Maybe next semester. Hopefully Japanese will run. It’s all or nothing it seems!

Lay down to half an hour when I got home, zoned out for awhile before I did the grocery shopping. At least Woolies is closer now, even if it is a smaller store! :) Chicken for dinner, which is a put in and leave in the over until done, turning if i really wanna kind of meal. Easy for a night like tonight.

Will hit the gym tomorrow. And Wednesday for round two of P&F.

Learnding is good. Too much stress, not so much.

  • Fiona says:

Yeah! I just have to work out my priorities, what I actually want to learn, plus how much time they’ll give me at work on studyleave to do it :p

You might have to give up things such as Japanese and Burlesque classes…
Just tell Rish to hurry up and invent the grand theory of everything so you can be rich like Nazis and not have to work. :p

Yes I know I know :) I should stick to exercise like the bikes or elliptcals at the gym so I can prop my book up on the stand like a good uni student.

And Japanese can wait. like until I know if I’ll spend more time there than a fleeting holiday. (and the dollar/yen exchange isn’t so horrendous!)

Japanese is fun learning though, it’s something to get your mind onto other than work. In a way, it’s a stress-less activity.
Exercise machines won’t give you the same fitness results that you will achieve from your sprints/out door jogging activities. Not that you’ll see me doing sprints though, they suck. :p They suck meaning I hate them, not that they’re not useful.
