In a whining-to-Rish moment on Saturday night of “do we have any movies to watch on the computer”, he replied “Actually we do. In Bruges.”
Great, I say, anything to entertain me on a Saturday evening. So, accompanied by Rish, minestrone, wine and later yummy dessert, we set about watching it.
And I set about giggling for the two hours it runs for. Yes, I was laughing at people dying or getting injured, and insulting a town and going a little mad (and midgets)… but it was certainly my kind of humour. Don’t read the wikipedia link before you see it.
Just see it, perhaps with wine in hand. And enjoy.

- Wear a new perfume – My Vanilla from the Body Shop just about ran out. SO I bought a new bottle of Vanilla, but also got “Neroli Jasmine” to see how that made me feel.
- Drink on the weekend – as in not drink through
the week ;)
- Water. AS in I’m going to drink it. Not swim in it, because of algae and cryptospiridum reports left right and centre. I’m not going to water the garden though, Canberra is depressingly dry… except the golf course
- Visit Newcastle. It looks like I’ll be up next weekend for the Canberra long weekend, and at the end of the month for an engagement party
- Work hard, play hard. At the gym and at work. Try to get my 5k down to 30 minutes, get my weight back under 70kg. Get my stats up at work. Get some results with my kids. Implement new communication systems with some of them.
- Smile. Take photos of things that make me smile. Like the little twittering birds I keep seeing. I just don’t like to scare them with my camera.
- Listen to new music. What month’s NOT good for new music? What are you liking right now, and do you think that I’d like it? (my Last.fm profile might help you out)
What are you going to do with the month?
