For a friend’s birthday last weekend, we had a bit of a rolling afternoon/evening. Started with lunch at Delissio’s in Braddon.
I ordered gnocchi and Rish went for a vegetarian roast vegetable pizza. I wasn’t overly fussed on the gnocchi (it was okay) but OMG the taste in the pizza. I happily stole a couple of slices of that! ;) I think it was the tangy goat’s cheese that did it for me :)
Being a birthday lunch, I just had to have coffee and cake – flourless orange cake often grabs me!
And I just loved the little cup my latte came in – mug-like, but still latte-esque, with the lack of handles. Good thing too, as it was after 3pm by then, and was starting to get a bit chilly out!
(and here are my home made pizzas from last night… before being ovened… there was kinda too much cheese on the bocconcini one :p Even did the dough myself – in the bread maker, of course!)

They look great! hehe and there I was thinking “Yum I love the amoutn of bocconcini in that first pizza”. I’m such a cheese freak :D
It was fine in the end, just the look I was given when it came out of the oven! :)
