Rish’s father sent me these flowers yesterday… why?
Well, we were helping them move a bunch of furniture from their current house to their newly built house… Rish had the trailer behind our car, I was in the ute with his Dad just behind…
About, say, 5 km down the road, on the third roundabout (for Newcastle people – the one from Hillsborough Rd and the Charlestown Bypass) I see something come off the side of the trailer.
“Erm, did you leave a folder and some keys on the trailer?”, I ask.
hmm?
“Were there keys on the trailer? I just saw some fall onto the road.”
We pull over, I jog back, crossing the roundabout to find them just out of the lanes of traffic.
So, grateful, I got sent flowers. :)
(ps it’s MUCH more comfy running in running shoes than in sandals!)
