Who can pass up on a free meal? I’m so stuffed right now after hitting the Canberra leg of the Wagamama national tweet up.
I foolishly went the trout… a little bland :( Would have loved maybe some extra lime wedges on the side, or chilli in the udon.
But Wagamama redeemed herself with the dessert selection. Passion fruit sorbet with lychees and a side of sake? WIN!
Next time someone suggests dessert in Civic, it’s Wagamama all the way!
Nice to meet you! You’re real people!

Your trout looks to have a better trout to noodle ratio – mine was on a sea of noodles. Totally agree with needing lemon/lime now that you mention it ^^
There were sooooo many noodles… I didn’t get through them all. I think the angle helped ;)
Passionfruit sorbet and lychees?? what a GREAT combination :)

mmm sake. I think it might have been intended to pour over – affogato style.
My parents frequently go to that Wagamama in Civic but I’ve never been… but I didn’t know they served desserts like this, either! I feel a dessert expedition coming up once I’m back in the ‘berra next month!

I have been to Wagamama in Melbourne twice and both times have been so disappointed. Your delicious dessert might have helped – but I didn’t see it on the menu down here!
I’m told they’re going to ‘tweak’ the trout a little ..
Shame if there’s not dessert in Melbourne! Here it’s listed on the paper placemat.
As said parent of Hannah, my favourite Wagamama dish is Spicy Chicken Itame because it’s spicy! Sometimes the chicken is dry but it is ALWAYS spicy and that covers a multitude of sins. It’s always a quick meal before the movies for us so we don’t have dessert but they have always looked a bit intriguing. One day we shall try…
