Homemade Pizza with Friends, and Kinky Olive Oil

Olive Oil in the Kinky Rum Bottle

Our olive oil is bought in massive 20L tins, so we needed something more manageable to decant it into. Fortunately, Rish came across this Kinky brand of rum. We used it at the cocktail party last year, and now use it for our olive oil :)

Olive oil of course being essential for a home made pizza night with friends. From the bases, to the marinade on the roo meat, to the salad dressing.

Pizza
Chicken, pumpkin, feta and pine nut. And home grown basil!

Pizza
Roo fillet marinated in rosemary, olive oil, mustard, lemon, garlic with potato and cheese.

Winning friends with salad
I still believe I can win friends with salad.

There is nothing wrong with salad! Esp when it’s vibrant, crunchy and served alongside such stunning homemade pizza.

How is the kangaroo fillet on pizza? I’ve always undercooked it as it can get tough as it’s so lean so I’m curious as to how this ends up.

Yum.

And that’s a really good idea for the decanting of olive oil. Hmmmmm.
