Based on this recipe…
Except that once the onions were browned, I threw it all in the oven, sauce included, with at least twice as much paprika, a little extra stock powder and some corn flour later to help thicken.
Protein packed! (plus Rish said it tasted like stroganoff! Except there was a lack of potato. Next time?)

Looks goooood! Though I’d have to make it with something else subsituting for the beef, on account of le mother’s allergies. But dairy-free and mushroom goodness FTW!

That looks pretty damn good!! I am not a huge fan of cream in cooking (much to Mr BBB’s dismay) so this would be perfect :)

First time of seeing a recipe for the Stroganoff with ‘tofu!”
Cool. Now I can use that box of tofu that has been sitting in the fridge for -a long while!-
Wow, interesting addition of silken tofu! Have you tried that new soy evaporated milk? It’s good for making things creamy without adding dairy.

Yup, I have, Fig & Cherry. I have a tin of it in the cupboard, it’s not always available at my local Woolworths, so I bought a couple of tins last time I was at the one at the larger town centre one (Woden, for Canberra peeps, Weston Creek doesn’t have it)
