They Just Die in the Right Way

Roses

I come home from the supermarket with a bunch of roses, to brighten the house, to bring Rish a smile when he works from home in the mornings, hiding from the cold of outside.

There’s something awesome about the way roses dry up and die. I remember a bunch I kept once from Rish, maybe in uni or high school, for months, because they still looked gorgeous after the colour was gone and they were dry.

My wedding bouquet roses have dried a gorgeous deep red colour, they’re beautiful.
