Arrived to check in for my trip to Melbourne just on closing time (for luggage, anyway, ALWAYS take a large suitcase to Melbourne, just in case I need the room!), so on a flight where there may have been one spare seat, it’s no surprise I got the aisle rather than requested window. I’m just glad I wasn’t in the dreaded middle seat!
Interesting choice of biscuit, but I was pleased it wasn’t chocolate, rued yet again that Qantas only serves red apples, and ate it up.
For my return trip, I decided to trial the mobile check-in as I was getting ready to check out of the hotel. Had to zoom the funny barcode for it to scan from my Nokia e63, but otherwise no issues.

Receipt I got when boarding QF826
Pleased to receive my window seat. :) Was also pleased on return that it was quite an empty flight, about 2/3 full, with a nice girl in the aisle seat, and a (slightly flirtatious) all male cabin crew!
Even happier when I received a golden delicious apple! And a nice ‘white wine’ (after handing back some strange cheese flavoured crisps)
Nice flight into CBR, Certainly felt the cold after the few days away from it!

Yay fun flight food photos! What was the Byron Bay cookie like? I’ve been thinking of trying that one, but I’m not a big fan of crystallised ginger, see. Dilemnas!

I dare say that the apples that they get are the cheapest they have available to them at that point in time, that’s the way these things tend to go.
@Kel, well I’m happy if they get cheap non-red apples :)
@Hannah, it was strong in bits of the ginger, but good :) Not a children’s cookie.
I have to say that I love getting a snack on flights. Even though Sydney-Melb is only an hour there’s the check in etc and it’s tough when it’s during a meal time!
