Saturday mornings are a slow start, spent doing washing, pottering around the house, music helping me through. Switched to real shoes to wander down to the local shopping centre for supplies for lunch, gathered the fliers from the parties running in my electorate (I only have tow number 1-3 for the lower house, and 1-9 I believe for the Senate. No excuses for a 1 above the line, Canberra!)… I’ll decide my numberings on the day.
Also picked up some roti to have with the leftovers of the “Curry” I made the other day in the crockpot. 2 reduced to clear soup packs from Coles ($1.01 each), the remainder of the lentils I had in the cupboard (a mix of red and brown), tin of tomatoes, a vege stock cube, water, curry powder and garam masala. Warm and easy! ;)
For now it’s back to kicking the washing machine so it finishes the cycle and dancing around to Garbage’s Bleed Like Me. So Emo :p

Bleed like me took me between Newcastle and Canberra many times…. Though give me Cherry Lips to karaoke to!
Hi! I came across your blog through 31 Photos. I lived in Canberra for about 5 years and I actually worked with Giulia Jones for a while in 2008 (Lib candidate in your electorate). I’m well and truely sick of the election already!
Hey there Gab :) I think I’ve seen your blog before – that glass of wine photo looks familiar – awesome profile pic hehe :) And totally fitting for a public servant/political staffer ;) wonkdrinks? :)
Oh, Cherry Lips! Now that takes me right back…
I do like the new blog theme but must admit I was worried it would be much more pink!
