Late night curry after clubbing
Okay. KL. What to do but eat? :) (oh or watch Rish eat when it gets too much for me!)
(Fittingly publishing this on Rish’s birthday! Happy Birthday dear! xx)
On arrival in KL, Rish’s Aunt took up for curries for breakfast…
Dinner at a vegetarian Chinese restaurant after a rather long “nap”

The only shark’s fin soup I’ll eat – Vegetarian!
Then next day – the main reason I come to Malaysia ;) Appam!
Rish’s cousin took us out to a club that night. I found it strange that you could buy bottles of spirits to mix at the table! Couldn’t have that here… meep!
We went for curry and tea afterwards…
Out for a walk around the neighbourhood next morning…
Dinner in a very haphazard place over a drain…
Then for tea and hookah/shisha..

I didn’t partake, but apparently Rish’s cousin has his watermelon flavoured!
And some Ice Cacang at the Central Market

(Probably should have ordered my own! Interesting combination for someone who doesn’t eat chocolate, ice cream, or kiwi!)
Checked through our bags at the train station to the plane…
Then off for Chinese for dinner before our flight back to Sydney…
We left the country well and truly stuffed full of food! :) As it should be!

oh man this post has made me miss malaysia so much!
Oh, I’ve never had ice kacang and I want, I want! (Though without the choc ice cream for me too, please.) Actually, I haven’t had much of what you ate here. Clearly, I need to get my toosh to Asia!
Doubt we can get much of it here….
I want that icecream so bad!
Perhaps the Independents and Greens can lobby for a Malaysian restaurant for Canberra?
