Some rather trendy new cafes like One Penny Black and boutiques (Before it Began) have moved in

It’s a shame that recent events may have screwed up the inner city mini revival that was going on.

20 years from ‘the earthquake‘ and Newcastle’s going to die once more…

Yeah, I’m not too sure about that. GPT apparently posted multi-million dollar losses over the last two years (pers comm. Toof 2010). Blaming the government sounds like a rather convenient way of backing out without looking like it’s because they’re pov.
