La Zuppa Soup

Okay, I admit, I got a little excited that I got to write a post for La Zuppa. I LOVE their soups – they’re awesome, stash in the drawer, gluten free (with some of them vegan) ready to heat up at work lunches. When I get back to work, I’m sure I’ll stock up again!

La Zuppa Soup

La Zuppa’s What’s Your Flavour? competition is calling on soup lovers throughout Australia to submit an original soup flavour they would like to see become part of the La Zuppa range. All you have to WIN a trip to ITALY (!!!!!), or weekly cash prizes is enter via their Facebook comp page with the flavour you would like to see in the next La Zuppa range.

I’d been procrastinating on entering this, but finally decided that I’d like to see them put together a sweet potato, rice, carrot and coriander soup, with a twist of lemon. You can head over to the Facebook Page and either vote for me or enter your own awesome recipe!

Oh I love La Zuppa soups. They’re my go-to when I totally forget that #1Hubby needs lunch as well as the kids. I’d love to see a Thai red chicken curry, or a seafood chowder (nice and thick), heavy on the parsley and lemon. Yummo.

OHHH i’ve already thought about this. I eat La Zuppa soups eeeevery day at work because I’m terribly boring and enjoy predictability.

I’d LOVE to see them do…
    a) Something potato based – potato and leek, potato and bacon…
    b) Something carrot based – carrot and cumin, maybe?
    c) SPICYYYY – or curried. Some kind of dahl-like soup perhaps!
    d) Something with noodles/pasta — i know their appeal to a lot of people is their gluten-free-ness, but as a hardcore gluten enthusiast, i’d love this to make them more of a substantial meal/snack (usually i eat them with toast, crackers, bread rolls, etc etc to ‘beef’ it up a bit).

I haven’t tried La Zuppa soups yet…I must be hiding under a rock!

I would love anything that would be really spicy and with some kick! Something like a Thai red curry soup, or a Tom Yum :)

I just had a La Zuppa minestrone soup for dinner. I bought it a couple of weeks ago when they were on special in Coles. It was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be buying the minestrone again! Thanks for a great giveaway! Xo

Oh yes! I used to eat La Zuppa all the time. Must remember to pick some up in our next shop.

As for a flavour: a rich, spicy tomato soup.

The Rosella brand used to have this amazing tomato soup concentrate. I LOVE it but haven’t seen it in store for years, so La Zuppa? Do your best!

I remember when the rosella was synonymous with soup!!

They do a yummy lentil soup, but I really fancy a hearty curried lentil soup. These soups are fantastic for a quick lunch on the run.

I love LaZuppa and I even have a few of their soups in the cupboard right now – I’m trying to be healthier especially with what I eat during the day and I find that during winter the LaZuppa soups are absolutely perfect because they give me a filling hot lunch that’s not unhealthy! I would love it if they did a potato and leek soup or a roasted vegetable soup (I know they have those other vegetable ones but roasted vegetables have that lovely flavour of their own) and I know my mum would love a prawn laksa style one!!

    • July 30, 2012 at 1:24 pm

I love that they are so easy, but still low in fat and salt!!!
