So, my dear, you all want to hear the story behind why I arrived home on Thursday to Flowers from Crust Pizza?
As happens in the blogging world, arrangements are made at times for bloggers to try things, in the hope that they’ll like them and blog about how awesome they are.
This was the challenge for Crust, when their PR company accepted my challenge that a pizza could still be awesome when on a gluten free base, and without the mozzarella… (I, of course, then select a vegetarian pizza on top of that – but have feta, because it rocks and I’ve decided that I’m eating it regardless)

But why is the pizza reheated? And so crispy?
Well… the problem with getting PR to order, via the main office, then getting it delivered by the local franchise… is well, sometimes payments are miscommunicated, and Fiona and the pizza boy spend 20 minutes on the porch trying to sort it out, while Fiona almost cries in her panicky anxious everything always goes wrong way.
But it sorts out. PR company works their charms.
And the pizza was nice. Liked the pumpkin sauce. And the toppings. Will steal that idea for my home made pizzas!
Not sold on the base yet – probably because it was singed black by the time we ate it? Maybe next time my pizza will be hot from the box.
2 days later, I get home… to flowers on the doorstep!

Who are they from? Usually it’s my parents or Rish’s parents (or various lovers, of course)…

aww. They made me smile.

(shame I’m currently without a vase, and they’re living in a cereal server Decor box! oh well!)
