Just back from my last trip to the Old Bus Depot Markets as a Canberran… one last chance to browse the familiar stalls, sip a warm drink, and buy some macarons from The Curious Chocolatier…
So many to choose from! Ended up with one of each, plus to pistachio, two slated caramel and two hazelnut to share with friends coming to dinner tonight :)
There was a fair queue at Jo’s Juice this morning… so many after the hot apple cider, hot lemon ginger and honey, and mulled wine

Headed to the Old Bus Depot Markets to get out and about today… Got myself some mulled wine (mm it was rather lemony and awesome) and wandered around.
I’ve made a (small) start on my Thirty before 30 list… I have decided that #23 Take and blog a photo a day of me for a month will be accomplished via DailyMugshot.com… and I won’t subject you all to each and every one of th pics here… instead they will appear at my mugshow and I will share the link once again when i complete a month in a row!
I also have the ingredients for #29 Bake awesome vegan cupcakes to take into work… so we’ll see if they meet all of the criteria there!

Ventured out to the Handmade Markets this morning, to have a wander and get some Xmas shopping done!
Hot day – wouldn’t want to be in the shed later this afternoon. Ugh. Got a yummy cold chai from the Real Chai stand free when I bought some tea from them, that cooled me off and kept me going a while longer!
Ran into Jen from Red Instead (recently relaunched to focus on her passions for print, web design and photography)…running around helping here and there. Also saw (or was seen by) Julia helping at another friends stall. Also was able to scab a lift home from a workmate and her family (I walked there this morning!)

Finally got around to doing my tax yesterday – after hitting the shops and buying three pairs of summer sandals and thinking I needed to pay for them somehow!
I also got a cute little parcel from Jen @ Red Instead…
Looking forward to the Christmas Handmade Markets on Nov 21 (yes, Jen’s stall will be there, I believe!)… will get all my Xmas shopping done there – though I might not have the car that day, we’ll see if I’m up for the 6km walk (take a backpack!)
