Banana Crumbly Cake (and mini muffins!)

Mmm made the Banana cake again out of Go Dairy Free, this time making a double mix, the cake’s a bit bigger and I made a bunch of mini-muffins too, which I see Rish has been nibbling on this afternoon!

How was your Sunday?

Woke up to the news that the kettle was dead…. so went down to the local shops, but no luck in woolies, The Reject Shop, Aldi or Homeart. There were some in Target, but they started at $60. Uh, no thanks!

Headed into the Canberra Centre around lunch time, and success at Big W – Kettle for $8, radiant heater (which Rish is pretty much sitting on now!) for $18. Score! And a vanilla air freshener for the car for $2.

Made a mess of the rice paper rolls I got from Sushi World for lunch. I don’t think they were packed tight enough. Their fault, right not mine? :p

My voice is coming back. Slowly. Have tomorrow off work, it’s been good for it, and me, not talking to many people at all. One more day of that (and hopefully not coughing all night like I did a lot of last night) and I may feel better. xx

Halloween night was good (costume and hotel room pics to come later this week), amazing how much you can fit into 23 hours in Sydney :) A few hours sleep, we managed to drive home safely… watched the cool storm coming in over the wind farm at Lake George.
