- My contract for my new job. Something about needing to decide how to allocate the untaxed income. Or something. I think I need a card.
- The new Marie Claire. For zoning out.
- Something official looking for a former tenant.
- A card telling me I have a parcel waiting. I hope it’s my netbook.
Making lists. Lots of lists. To-dos for work, all the reports and notes to write, caseload to prioritise. To dos for home. Furniture and books to offload (I got $14 in exchange for some books today to put towards my City2Surf fundraising for the Steve Waugh Foundation). Stuff to sort out.
It’s going to be a big month.
And people keep asking me about a farewell! I suggest they organise it and let me know ;)

The screen again. All black, no luck trying to get it to hook up and display on the external monitor.
So, right now I’m on Rish’s netbook. I also have my phone.
I will call JB extended warranty people, and tell them that it’s happened AGAIN (Samsung N120. Screens just go. Dodgy connection I believe) and that they need to get it fixed AGAIN.
And then I wait. Again.
:\ (At least I have plenty of books to read! 12 upper primary novels to review for book of the year!)
Anyone want to give me a new netbook? No? Oh well
See you when I see you.

Just in time to write up my first essay for the year. Awesome.
Oh and to research what new mobile phone I want. I’m currently leaning towards the HTC legend because I can get it on my $29 Crazy Johns plan. Any opinions? :)

Two new Tokidoki stickers for my netbook, thanks to Barcode Space. We got chatting to the owner in Brisbane who offered to send Rish some Tokidoki stickers because he needs to decorate his new netbook :) He didn’t want them afterall (think he’s gonna go the whole way and get the gelaskin), so all mine! yay!

I think it’s evolving beautifully, don’t you?
It includes stickers from Evelyn Evelyn, Threadless, WordPress, Gravatar and Flickr.
What else does it need? And, where can I get them?
(Thanks to Jim for the WordPress & Gravatar stickers! Your Australian Sex Party sticker will be on its way once I get my act together!)

Spent 7 hours on the road to and from Sydney (Mt Druitt/Rooty Hill) for a workshop day for one of my subjects. It was a good day – though I wish it had started a little later! Those of us who had traveled from Canberra were there and ready to go at the 8:30am start time, but others were wandering in up until about 9. Grr. “Jokingly” suggested that we should be giving the Sydney-siders a guilt trip, having left home at 5am and all.
I’m probably going to buy some sort of netbook in the next few weeks, to help me with being able to take notes from all my readings, work where ever I like etc. The Samsung N120 looks good, but i have to do my homework on some others before I buy. Hoping to get something that will stick with me over the next 2 years of uni. Any suggestions?
