Tapas @ Barrio 2304, Mayfield

It’s birthday season!!! Last night I went for Tapas for Amanda’s birthday at Barrio 2304 – a Spanish restaurant on Maitland Road, Mayfield.

As we had such a group, we ordered to $35/head banquet. And were quite stuffed by the end!

Talulah Bar and Restaurant, The Junction, Newcastle

To celebrate one of the girls finishing her Med school exams for the semester, a group of us met for drinks at The Junction Hotel, and then went across the road to Talulah for dinner.

I’m personally not that into tapas (tend to find it over-rated and over-priced) so I happily ordered from the (small) mains menu, as did the rest of the group.

Wine taste and “tapas” $5 for the serve

A group of us headed for after work drinks out at Mount Majura Vineyard. As a part of the Fireside Festival, they were doing a wine tasting/tapas do with $5 serves of wine with accompanying tapas taste.
