Sambal Chili Prawns


I was at the Fyshwick markets late last Sunday, and the discounted veges were calling my name. Squash and Bok Choi, certainly that would mean doing the tamarind stirfry that calls for them and the stash of frozen prawns in my freezer?


Not that I could find the recipe book. Or remember the recipe. So in went some tamarind, sambal oelek, garlic, chilli, fish sauce. That sort of thing.


It work… except for the squash which needed picking out as it wasn’t that nice afterall :( Oh well!

    lol, we bought some discounted veggies from the belconnen market one sunday and we had to throw half out as they were off.

      just make sure you use fresh veges!
