Not Thrown ~ the little lioness

Not Thrown

Lotsa things thrown at me today that COULD have completely thrown me, had I been in a throwable state of mind.

Like forgetting to check train times BEFORE I went to sleep.

The fact that my psychologist had miscounted my number of sessions, and couldn’t get the Medicare rebate for the one today.

Which meant I didn’t have enough in my account to pay for the scripts I’d dropped into the chemist before the session.

So I transferred money across.

But my maths was bad, so it was $5 short,

But I had $5 in my pocket! Yay!

Made the first train by 3 mins.

Then the one at Central by the same margin.

(as everyone else was getting out of the last four carriages and into the first four)

[and as I have to retype this as the draft didn’t save]

to be stopped at Epping, with a tree over the tracks.

Helping all the confused people around me understand that we were now going to catch a train to Chatswood. Then another to Hornsby.

Where we’d get on a train to Newcastle.

Some were all over confused by it all.

But I pushed through today.

Now to Newie, and to hug the birthday boy!

*smiles*
