WoW Classic Druid Specializations Best in Slot Weapons

Work toward these weapons to sit on top of rankings!

Druids are the most versatile of the classes in World of Warcraft. They can tank, heal, fight at the front lines, or two of those at the same time. Sure, they’re not going to be outdoing those classes that are really specialized for a role. However, this lets them be a good substitute in a pinch. At any rate here are the weapons Druid players need to get into their WoW Classic bags!

Feral Bear Form

For the Feral Bear, the Warden Staff is your best bet. Sure, it’s only a level 48 staff, but it’s the best at giving mitigation for Feral Tanks. With the bonuses to stamina and armor, it gives a good boost to your defenses as a tank. Slap an Agility Enchantment on it and you’re good to go.

Many level 40-50 enemies across Azeroth have a chance to drop this weapon. The one with the highest drop rate is Gormarok the Ravager at 0.05% (though some sources say 0.025%). Still, you might come across this weapon on your travels, if you’re lucky.

They don’t get an off-hand weapon, since the staff is two-handed.

Feral Cat Form

The best-in-slot weapon for the Feral Cat is The End of Dreams. This mace increases Intellect and Stamina, plus gives further boosts upon equipping it. The first is to increase the effectiveness of healing (spells and otherwise) by up to 95. Second, it gives a +305 Attack Power for Druids in Cat, Bear, or Dire Bear Forms. Third and last, it increases mana regen, giving 5 points every 5 seconds. The best enchantment you can place on it is a Strength Enchantment.

The mace drops from Grobbulus in the Naxxramas raid. Be sure to be ready when it drops! The competition for Druid equipment may not be as fierce as other classes’, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. There’s a 39% chance of getting it, which is somewhat better odds at getting the correct answer in a multiple-choice question.

For their off-hand, the Tome of Knowledge fits well. It’s not as flashy as other weapons (main or off-hand), but it’s good for boosts to Strength, Stamina, Agility, Intellect, and Spirit. Get it from Archivist Galford in Stratholme.

Restoration Druids get the Hammer of the Twisting Nether. It provides an Intellect and Stamina boost, but the real benefits are from the bonuses on equipping it. One increases the effectiveness of healing by up to 238. The other increases mana regen by restoring 8 every 5 seconds. It’s a great weapon to increase the Druid’s healing ability. With a Healing Power Enchantment, this weapon can boost healing by up to 293.

Kel’Thuzad drops this weapon. Of course, being the final boss in the definite endgame raid of WoW Classic, you can expect that he drops nothing less than the best equipment. Other healing classes might also vie for this weapon, so prepare to roll for it!

Sapphiron’s Right Eye goes to their off-hand. It gives boosts to Intellect and Stamina. Then, like the Hammer of Twisting Nether, its equip bonuses increase healing up to 62 points and restore an additional 4 mana per 5 seconds. With both of the weapons combined, your healing goes up to an additional 355!

Like Feral Cat Druids, Balance Druids also get The End of Dreams. The only difference is a Spell Power Enchantment instead of a Strength one. However, they get Sapphiron’s Left Eye for their off-hand. If the right one boosts healing only, the left boosts spell power as well. The downside is that it’s a lower bonus since both healing and spell power only increases by up to 26. It also gives a 1% chance to hit with spells, and a 1% increase to spell critical hit rate.

Sapphiron is the penultimate boss in the Naxxramas raid. Both eyes have a 16% chance to drop and can be competed over by other healing and spellcaster classes. May you be lucky with your rolls!

These are the ultimate best weapons for all kinds of Druids. Of course, to get these weapons, you would have to do the Naxxramas raid a handful of (or more) times. Even then you could get unlucky and either not have it drop or it goes to someone else. They’re all also bind-on-pickup (except the Warden Staff, which is bind-on-equip). That means you can’t spend your WoW Classic gold to buy them on the Auction House.

Good luck on those rolls, and in raiding! Keep on enjoying World of Warcraft Classic as well.
