The dog most commonly associated with Cody Rhodes dog searches was Pharaoh, a Siberian Husky who spent many years as part of the Rhodes family. Pharaoh was known for his striking appearance, energetic personality, and close relationship with Cody, Brandi Rhodes, and their children.
Unlike many celebrity pets who remain completely away from the public eye, Pharaoh became part of Cody’s wrestling journey. Fans saw him during the AEW era and later during Cody’s return to WWE. His appearances helped turn him into a recognizable personality among wrestling fans.

Pharaoh was not simply brought into the spotlight for publicity. Cody frequently spoke affectionately about him and treated him as an important member of his family.

Cody’s connection with Pharaoh was particularly visible in the way he described the dog’s personality. Pharaoh was energetic, protective, and highly attached to his family.

Cody once described him as a kind of “crisis dog,” explaining that Pharaoh had a natural ability to be there when his family needed comfort or protection. That description became even more meaningful when Cody later reflected on the difficult moments they had experienced together.

Despite health challenges, Pharaoh remained an important part of the family. His long life gave him the opportunity to experience numerous changes in the Rhodes household and Cody’s wrestling career.

His longevity also meant that fans had followed him for many years. Someone who discovered Cody Rhodes during the AEW era could remember seeing Pharaoh then and later seeing him again after Cody returned to WWE.

Why Did Fans Love Pharaoh?

Pharaoh often appeared calm and friendly around wrestling fans, while Cody’s stories about him showed a playful and protective side. His presence also gave fans a glimpse into Cody’s personal life.

Professional wrestling is built around larger-than-life characters, but Pharaoh represented something different. He was simply a beloved family dog who happened to become part of a major wrestling star’s journey.
That authenticity helped make him memorable.

Cody Rhodes’ Emotional Tribute to Pharaoh

After Pharaoh’s death, Cody shared memories that highlighted the dog’s importance to him. He recalled how Pharaoh had stayed close during difficult periods and offered comfort without needing anything in return.
One particularly emotional memory involved Cody sitting outside and looking at the Texas stars after the death of his father, Dusty Rhodes. Pharaoh stayed beside him during that difficult time, creating a memory Cody carried with him for years.
