How cool is that bike? Don’t you wish you were cool enough for a bike like that? I know I’m not! Uni students these days and their cool bikes. I’ll never be one of them.
I still think walking is the safer option for me ;)

So, I acquired this bike from someone at Rish’s uni maybe a year ago now… and today was my first actual ride on it. The idea being, why walk a kilometre to work when I can ride a free bike that far?
Question was whether I actually could ride a bike that far…
The last time I rode a bike? A terrifying experience in the Hunter vineyards with Rish, where he thought I was going to kill us both…
Before that, it would have been on year ?10 camp. I don’t knwo which year, but there were bikes, and I rode one around a little mini BMX track.
So, I rode today. Up a hill, came back a better way, but still didn’t trust myself or the brake enough on one section.
Little by little. By Christmas Eve I’ll ride back with no fear.
