Since I so won’t get to write up a post about the Nuffnang Canberra blogger meetup we organised for aages, you should go read Hannah’s post on it.
And comment on how cool this pic is:

Was great to meet everyone!! :)

With a detour via Sydney on the way to check out some job leads, and arriving back close to midnight last night, the weekend was a rather long long weekend.

I wanted to get the Miley cake…

I put my icy fingers on his neck and then he kept making me keep doing it!!

A dinner at Grind on Darby Street

My made up breakfast at Hippo at Warners Bay.

The coffee I didn’t spill all over myself. Liam (the toddler) spilled two. I only spilled one. Grace does not come with age in my family!

Mum had a avocado salsa dish with a poached egg.
Looking forward to being closer, getting there at bit more!

Inspired by these flowers, I went on a colour hunt on my walk to work on Wednesday morning…

the sun is in the sky & i am by my lonesome
so you don’t want to hear about my good day?
you have better things to do than to hear me saygod its been a lovely day! everything is going my way
i took out the trash today and i’m on fire…

Once upon a time, between 10 and 14 years ago, in an accelerated maths class in a distant land known as Newcastle, the students were playing anagrams on the board. It must have been after an exam.
Binable!, Brian insists. “It’s a word. I can put something in the bin, so it’s Bin-able. Like other -able words.”
If I recall correctly there were many groans, and wouldn’t be surprised if things were thrown.
Throwable things, of course.

When things look bad, at least you can reassure yourself that it’s improbable that the world will actually end today.

Okay, time for the foot and shoe fetishists to come out of the lurker-woods for August. I’m participating in 31 photos in 31 days and I’ve decided that each day I’ll share my footwear for that day. Be it my uggies, work shoes, runners or my tokidoki rain boots, you’ll get to share in the joy. And you’ll get to see more of my tights collection! If that’s not for you, go to the project page and you might find something more your style ;)
These shoes I bought in Cologne for 9.99 Euro. Nice comfy flats with a cute little bow that work for work or weekends. A cold, wet day standing in the carpark of a Westfield, with jeans that were about to have the hems wetted ;)
