The MLB regular season has been a month old now and we are just about to enter the late springtime and the early summer moments for the 2022 MLB regular season. There are tons of solid MLB players out, but there are only a few that stand out from the rest of the bunch. There is a difference between good baseball players and great baseball players.

There have been MLB betting trends for the 2022 MLB regular season, but the players don’t care about that stuff. Who are some of the top players in the game of baseball at the current moment? Juan Soto, OF, Washington Nationals

Juan Soto is one of the best players in all of baseball. Soto has a lot of power. He hits for a very good average and usually drives in more runs, but the team is so bad this year that they have no one on base usually when Juan Soto comes to the plate. Juan Soto is going to make the most money one day in the MLB.

He could potentially get a 10-year $500 million deal with the Washington Nationals when the time comes. Washington is currently in a rebuild, but he is one of the brightest stars in all of baseball. If Soto for some odd reason left the Washington Nationals, the New York Mets, the New York Yankees, and the Los Angeles Dodgers would line up their pocketbooks for that guy.

Juan Soto won a World Series title with the 2019 Washington Nationals and he was one of the best players on that baseball team. Soto always launches moonshots every time he steps up to the plate.

Aaron Judge, OF, New York Yankees

The face of the New York Yankees franchise at the moment is outfielder Aaron Judge. He is a great fielder, a great leader, and a power hitter. New York’s offense and the team start with him. Aaron Judge will be a free agent after this season. If the Yankees lose him, it could be a very bad thing for them moving forward.

He is a fan favorite not only for the New York Yankees but also for the entire MLB. Aaron Judge is one of the best players in the entire world. He does and says a lot of the right things. Judge does have help around him and he is one of the reasons why New York is one of the best teams in the entire MLB this season.

Aaron Judge is going to get a payday from someone even if it isn’t the New York Yankees. We will see what happens here.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B/3B, Toronto Blue Jays

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one of the best power hitters in the entire MLB. Every time he steps up to the plate, he is a threat to hit a home run. Guerrero Jr. may receive the Barry Bonds treatment sooner rather than later. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just hits exactly as his father used to when he played in the MLB.

Guerrero Jr. has Toronto in the thick of the American League East race this year. He could potentially win them a World Series title one day. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. could have very well won the American League MVP last year because he was near the top of the MLB in stats.

Guerrero Jr. is one of those players that you have to see in ballparks whenever he is in town. He is something special and has many bright years ahead of him in the MLB.

Shohei Ohtani, OF/SP, Los Angeles Angels

Move over Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani is the player that people want to see on the Los Angeles Angels these days. He was such a hot ticket in town last season because Ohtani won the American League MVP Award.

Shohei Ohtani can pitch on every fifth day and what is cool is that he can be the designated hitter and hit for himself. Ohtani can also play in the outfield and make tremendous diving catches. The Los Angeles Angels are currently leading the American League West so far this season because of those two baseball players.
